We are 12 miles from the historic city of York, with a park and ride bus service only 8 miles from the farm taking you to the city centre. York Maze and Elvington Air Museum are about 5 miles from the site. We are 6 miles from Pocklington, with Burnby Hall gardens and its fine collection of water lilies. There is a Sainsburys, Aldi and Co-Op supermarket, and also several takeaways.

We are approximately an hours drive from the East Coast, with Hornsea being the nearest coastal resort. Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington are all about an hrs drive away.

There is a public house within walking distance in the village, the Melbourne Arms Public House which serves evening meals.

An ideal place to relax and unwind. Also a popular area for cyclists.
